- Heading towards Lisbon, stop to visit Rio Christ Statue from the outside, a religious monument representing the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It undoubtedly recalls the Christ the Redeemer of Rio de Janeiro from which it is directly inspired. Erected in 1959, it rises to the sky to thank the Almighty for having spared Portugal during the Second World War. 85 meters high, it overlooks the Tagus by more than 113 meters and supports a 28-meter high statue. From its height, a breathtaking view is waiting for you to admire the sea of straw, old town and plain of Setubal.
-Arrival in the center of Lisbon, to begin to admire its landscapes and the architecture of its houses, “Lisa” as its inhabitants call it.
