Itinerary

Day 1: Lisbon

When you arrive at the airport, we will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards at the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

Day 2: Lisbon

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: City tour of Lisbon. Evening transfer. In the morning we will take a sightseeing tour with a local guide. We will visit traditional neighborhoods including the Belem district, cradle of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the 15th century. We will visit the
Monument of the Discoveries, the Tower of Belém and the magnificent Jeronimos Monastery, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take advantage of the free afternoon to explore the city at your leisure. Late in the afternoon we will have a transfer to Restauradores Square, a public square full of restaurants and cafes. We suggest you take the Elevador Da Gloria funicular which will take you to the San Pedro viewpoint with beautiful views of Lisbon and Bairro Alto. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Lisbon - Fatima - Madrid.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Sanctuary of Fatima. Lunch included. Today we will travel to the north of Portugal and visit FATIMA, an important sanctuary (place of pilgrimage). We will continue our route through the green spaces of the center, passing through Spain, then, through the meadows, we will cross the north of Extremadura. Lunch included en route in a regional cuisine restaurant. We will continue towards MADRID where we will arrive at the end of the day. Then we include the transfer to the Plaza Mayor where you can enjoy typical taverns.

Day 4: Madrid

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: City tour of Madrid. Take a walk in Retiro Park. Visit to the Las Ventas bullring. Evening transfer. The morning begins with a comprehensive tour of central Madrid, including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. We will then visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city center, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. A visit to the Las Ventas bullring (entrance included) is next. It is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will discover the tradition of “bullfights” at the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. At sunset, we will arrange a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, in front of the Royal Palace, an elegant and lively area with many restaurants serving different cuisines, such as local Spanish, international and Chinese cuisine. Enjoy a pleasant dinner of your choice. At the end of the evening, we will return to the hotel.

Day 5: Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Montserrat - Barcelona

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Poblet Monastery, rack railway to Montserrat. In the morning, we leave for Aragon passing through the lands of Castile. In ZARAGOZA, we stop briefly to see the Pilar Basilica. We continue to Poblet Monastery, surrounded by its walls in a magnificent site which is one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in the world (entrance included). We will then head to the Monastery of Montserrat where you will climb the mountain by rack railway to admire its fantastic landscapes. Then we will continue towards BARCELONA, where we will arrive late in the afternoon. Note: In some cases, depending on the rack railway timetable, the climb to Montserrat can be done in our coach. From November to March, due to the shorter length of days, we will not go up or stop in Montserrat.

Day 6: Barcelona-Girona.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: City tour of Barcelona. Girona. In the morning we will enjoy a tour of the city, its Ramblas, the works of Gaudí and memories of the Olympic Games. Free time. At the end of the afternoon we will head towards the north of Catalonia. A stroll in GIRONA and its beautiful historic center. Its colorful houses stand out, as well as the old Jewish quarter and the cathedral.

Day 7: Girona- Arles- Carrieres de Lumiere- Chambery.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: Provencal region in France. We leave for France crossing Provence. We will stop in ARLES, a small town classified as a world heritage site where we will remember Van Gogh, and will be able to see its Roman theater and its small Romanesque churches. Time for a walk and lunch. We continue and include entry to CARRIERES DE LUMIERE, an impressive exhibition of art, image and sound underground, in old quarries. CHAMBERY, arrival and accommodation in the charming capital of Savoy, a medieval city with a beautiful old town and a large castle.

Day 8: Chambery- Geneva- Gruyere- Chillon- Leysin.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Switzerland with its lakes and mountains. Chocolate factory. Dinner included. We are traveling to Switzerland. GENEVA, arrival. With our guide, we will go to the Palais des Nations (headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers and we will be able to admire the “Jet d'Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe . . We continue towards the picturesque fortified village of GRUYERE, known worldwide for its cheese. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Nearby are several of Switzerland's leading chocolate factories (including NESTLE), and we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included!. After that, we head to CHÂTEAU DE CHILLON, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic medieval castle. We will continue our route on small roads in the middle of bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages. - Arrival at LEYSIN, a pretty little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhône plain and Mont Blanc, known for its resort winter sports or its hiking possibilities. Dinner included.

Day 9: Leysin- Glacier 3000- Interlaken- Lucerne- Zurich.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Swiss Alpine landscape with glaciers and mountains. Glacier 3000 and its cable car. Alfalfa. Today's stage presents magnificent high mountain landscapes. Don't forget your winter clothes, we are climbing to one of the most spectacular places in Switzerland where you can see ice and snow all year round. We include the cable car ride to GLACIER 3000 where you can walk on the suspension bridge between two mountain peaks, enter the Ice Cathedral or "play" in the Fun Park. Stop at INTERLAKEN and lunch time. In the middle of very picturesque lakes, we continue towards LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Continue to ZURICH, where you will have time to stroll around the city center before returning to the hotel. Day 10: Zurich - Lugano- Morcote - Milan.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Spectacular alpine landscapes, picturesque villages and lakes. We will leave Zurich early in the morning and cross the Alps to reach Italian Switzerland. Along the way we will see beautiful lakes and snow-capped mountains. LUGANO. Arrival in the cosmopolitan capital of Italian Switzerland built on the edge of its magnificent lake. It's time to take a walk and have lunch. We will then reach the charming little town of MORCOTE, famous for its flowery stone houses. We will then go to Italy. Arrival in MILAN where the guide will take us to the impressive Duomo Square. There you will find a variety of local and international restaurants to dine at. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 11: Milan- Pisa- Rome.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Ligurian Coast, Leaning Tower of Pisa. Today we continue our journey to PISA. In a small tourist train we will head to Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where we will have time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful artistic complexes in Italy, including the famous Leaning Tower from Pisa. Then we continue to ROME, where we arrive at the end of the day.

Day 12: Rome

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: City tour of Rome. Imperial Forums (entrance price included). Evening transfer to the Trastevere district. In the morning we will take a panoramic tour which will be an excellent introduction to “The Eternal City”. We will visit the small state of the Vatican, the epicenter of Christianity in the world. You can visit St. Peter's Basilica. We include entry to the Imperial Forums, an impressive architectural complex of monumental buildings and squares, the center of imperial Rome's political activity. At the end of the evening, we organize a transfer to the Trastevere district for a stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets. of the neighborhood with hidden treasures, such as some modest medieval churches, small shops with the most unusual objects or scenes of daily life. Numerous trattorias (informal Italian dining establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spirit will be ready to serve you local dishes. Other restaurants serving Indian, Chinese and international cuisine can be found in this area. Return to the hotel.Note: on many occasions during the low season, as well as on certain specific dates during the rest of the year, instead of the entrance to the Imperial Forums, we will enter the Roman Colosseum, symbol of Rome.

Day 13: Rome - Florence

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Tour with a local Florence expert. View from Piazzale Michelangelo. Today we will leave Rome heading north. This route presents beautiful landscapes. Arriving in FLORENCE, we head straight to the impressive Piazzale Michelangelo. In the evening, we will take a tour with a local expert, traveling through the historic center and visiting places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and the Plaza della Signoria. This city is truly an open-air museum. Enjoy some free time to explore. In the evening, you will have time to dine as in this area you will find many restaurants serving international cuisine.

Day 14: Florence - Venice.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Boat on the Venice Canal. Visit and entry to Saint Mark's Basilica. Admire the Murano glass manufacturing technique. Today we enjoy stunning mountain scenery as we drive through the Apennine Mountains. We will arrive in VENICE and take the boat and cross the Giudecca to the island of Venice. With a local guide, we will visit the wonderful St. Mark's Square and enter the Basilica (entrance included). Then we will visit the Murano glassworks. It is fascinating to see the technique of making this ancient glass. Enjoy some free time to explore. Accommodation in the Mestre district.

Day 15: Venice – Innsbruck – Kitzbuhel.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Breathtaking landscapes. Dinner included. We will leave Venice to go to Austria! Arrival in INNSBRUCK, time to stroll through the historic city center and have lunch. After that we take a very beautiful scenic drive between the mountains to KITZBÜHEL – Arrival and time to see this picturesque little village, a famous ski resort where we can enjoy the snow for most of the year! Free time. Dinner included (vegetarian option available).

Day 16: Kitzbuhel- Salzburg - St. Wolfgang- Traunsee Lake- Vienna.

ON THE POSTER OF THE DAY: Alpine cable car. Salzburg, the city of Mozart. Fantastic landscape. Cruise on a lake. Departing in the morning, we include a cable car ride to Steinplatte up to the high mountains of the Alpine region, with snow 9 months a year and fantastic landscapes. The superb landscapes of the platform in the void and the dinosaur exhibition will leave us with unforgettable memories. We will continue to explore Austria, traveling between the mountains and arriving in SALZBURG. Our guide will accompany us through the beautiful streets of the historic center of this city, declared a World Heritage Site. We make our way between lakes and mountains in the next stage. Our next stop is at ST. WOLFGANG, famous place of pilgrimage in Austria. We continue to TRAUNKIRCHEN with its magnificent Traunsee lake, where we take a cruise to see four castles, disembarking at GMUNDEN. After that we continue towards VIENNA, where we arrive in the evening.

Day 17: Vienna

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: City tour of Vienna. Gardens of the immense Schönbrunn Palace. Today we take a panoramic tour of this impressive city with a local expert. Here we discover its majestic avenues, its palaces and the lively city center. We will then head straight to Schönbrunn Palace, where visitors can stroll and enjoy its beautiful gardens. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon of leisure in the city center. In the evening, we include a transfer to the Grinzing district, a former wine village annexed to the city and known for its traditional taverns. Free time to dine in one of its typical restaurants.

Day 18: Vienna - Budapest

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Cruise on the Danube, city tour of Budapest, evening transfer. We have about a three hour trip to BUDAPEST, Hungary. Arriving around 11:30 a.m., we will discover Budapest (nicknamed the “Queen of the Danube”) during a boat trip along the river. Budapest is divided by the Danube, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopolitan Pest on the other. Time for lunch, followed by a panoramic city tour. After the visit, enjoy some free time. At the end of the day, we finish in the lively Vaci Utca district, where you'll find plenty of dining options.

Day 19: Budapest - Bratislava - Prague.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS. It's time to explore Bratislava. Czech landscapes. Evening transfer to Prague. We will leave Budapest for BRATISLAVA, the capital of Slovakia and a city on the banks of the Danube. With an attractive historic center, take the time to visit the city and have lunch. After lunch we will continue our journey to the Czech Republic, PRAGUE. Arriving in the evening, we will head towards the Old Town Square. This central location provides a great introduction to Prague, full of energy and tourist activities. You can dine at one of the restaurants offering international cuisine, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to the hotel.

Day 20: Prague

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: City tour of Prague. Visit to the castle. Boat trip along the river. Today we will visit the capital, Prague, the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide you with an informative tour of the city, which will include notable monuments. During the visit,
we cross Prague Castle (entrance included). Then we will take a boat trip on the Vltava River. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the city. In the evening we will spend more time in the historic city center and you will have the opportunity to have dinner. Return to the hotel.

Day 21: Prague - Pilsen- Rothemburg - Frankfurt

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Romantic journey through Germany. We will depart early from Prague and stop at PILSEN in the West Bohemia region, a town famous for its beer. Take a stroll through its historic center where you will find the Grande Place, the cathedral, the Plague Column and a Renaissance town hall. We will then cross Germany where we will follow a section of the "Romantic Route". We will then visit ROTHEMBURG, a town that seems straight out of a fairy tale and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in the country. Then we will head to FRANKFURT. Arrival in the financial capital of Germany late in the afternoon. Free time in the historic city center where you can choose from a wide variety of restaurants (from Indian to Oriental, Italian, international cuisine, etc.).

Day 22: Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Cruise on the Rhine included. Today we will take a short cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR, undoubtedly the most scenic section of the river. After that, we will travel to COLOGNE, a city that stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then head to the Netherlands. Arrival in AMSTERDAM late afternoon

Day 23: Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Volendam- Marken- Amsterdam.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Typical picturesque village of Volendam. Boat on Lake IJsselmeer. Amsterdam city tour. Today we have a very exciting day in the Netherlands. We will go to Zaanse Schans with its mills, canals and typical houses. Next VOLENDAM, a very picturesque fishing village. A short boat ride from Volendam will take us to MARKEN (an island connected to the mainland by a fixed sea wall), where the houses are built on stilts. After that, we will travel to AMSTERDAM where we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city to see its narrow canals, official buildings and parks. We will also see the diamond cutting technique. A large part of the visit will be done on foot, information will be given through headphones. It's dinner time at Rembrandtplein, a neighborhood with many restaurants from around the world and close to the liberal red light district. Return to the hotel.

Day 24: Amsterdam - Hamelin - Marienborn- Berlin.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: Visit to the village made famous by the children's tale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. We will leave Amsterdam for Germany. HAMELIN, a picturesque German town whose streets and shops immerse us in the legend of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, a children's story written by the Brothers Grimm. We will then continue and stop at MARIENBORN, located on the old border that separated East and West Germany until 1990. We will visit a museum to learn more. Finally, we will head to BERLIN. Arrival in the evening.

Day 25: Berlin

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: City tour of Berlin. We visit the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. Discover the local culture with a guided tour of the incredible German capital, Berlin. We will visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the magnificent city parks. We continue our visit by stopping at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. This visit helps us understand the difficult situation the city experienced in the 20th century. It's time to explore the city. Enjoy an evening in the lively Kantstrasse district, an area that offers different types of ethnic restaurants for dining (Indian, Oriental, Italian, German, etc.).

Day 26: Berlin

After breakfast, end of our services.
